The story behind JBrack Media.
Most small business websites are broken. They were either built years ago by a cousin's friend, slapped together on a $20/month template platform, or paid for at five figures by an agency that disappeared the moment the invoice cleared. Either way, they're stale, they don't load fast on a phone, and they don't reflect what the business actually looks like today.
JBrack Media exists to fix that. One person, designing one site at a time, keeping it current every month it's live. No outsourcing, no support tickets routed offshore, no surprise invoices for "an extra round of revisions." Just a modern website, designed properly, hosted reliably, and maintained on a simple monthly plan.
I started this business because I kept seeing local small businesses across Northern Ontario stuck with the same broken model: pay an agency thousands upfront, get a site that goes stale within a year, then pay again to fix it. The subscription approach flips that. Your site stays current for as long as you stay a client, and the upfront cost is a fraction of what a traditional agency would charge.
I got here the long way. Fifteen years in home renovations, ten of them running my own business. Healthcare administration at the local hospital. Sales, customer service, entertainment. And computers and electronics, seriously, since I was a teenager. That mix is the job: understand what a business actually does, talk to the people who run it, and build the thing they see in their head. My favourite part of any project is still the research.
Based in Sault Ste. Marie, working with small businesses across Canada. If you've got a website that isn't pulling its weight, I can probably help. And if I can't, I'll tell you that upfront.
